I am very excited and proud about Houndog Holidays. It all started with my dog walking company (Weekday Walkies) which I started after leaving corporate life, this then expanded to include a small number of local foster families who can provide a loving home from home dog boarding experience, uniquely tailored for your dog, while your away.
At Houndog Holidays we know your dog is very special to you, and they are very special to us as well. They will be treated just like they are at home, perhaps with a few more treats - after all they are on holiday too.

After meeting your dog I will create a unique character profile for him ensuring the care he receives is tailored to his individual need

I will personally be involved in your dog's placement to offer guidance and reassurance every step of the way

I will provide 24 x 7 emergency contact to support our foster families while they have a dog staying with them

I will visit your dog within 48 hrs of their holiday placement and text you to let you know how he has settled in
We mainly cover the following areas in Hampshire - Southampton, Eastleigh, Chandlersford, Hedge End, Fair Oak, Twyford, West End and Botley.

Meet the family
My name is Sue and we have had dogs in our family since I was born.
Currently I have 2 mad cocker spaniels, Hazel & Merlin, who I adore and also my husband, Shane, who as you can imagine has to play second fiddle to the dogs.
I have been a foster carer for a number of years and have also had my dogs in foster care, while I have been on holiday, so I know the feelings from both sides and recognise the trust and commitment that is require by the dog owner and the foster carer.
We live in Hedge end so we are central to the area we cover. |
